The laboratory includes a data processing centre to ensure high availability of IT services.Thanks to its autonomy in terms of the generation and supply of utilities – power and chilled water – from its own trigeneration facility, optimum environmental conditions are maintained there.
Optimal operation of the centre is ensured by advanced infrastructures, including: dual-track power supply with backup power supply for one of the tracks by an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and maintenance of air humidity parameters.
State-of-the-art fire, access control, monitoring and intrusion alarm systems, integrated within the internal BMS management system, guarantee the security of the centre and the data it collects.
The laboratory is also equipped with various types of data transmission equipment for computer networks, data processing and storage equipment and specialised software.
