In the laboratory, which is part of the Physical Properties Laboratory Unit, it is possible to carry out research and physicochemical tests on the material properties of raw materials and products. The particular competence is to issue opinions on the basis of the characteristics drawn up.

It also conducts research to introduce new material solutions in various industries. Their scope includes:

  • tomography,
  • strength tests,
  • hardness and microhardness,
  • chemical composition analysis,
  • microscopic examinations (including SEM).
