Trainings

Trainings

Trainings are conducted by practitioners with a broad knowledge and many years of experience. Trainings are held in the premises of our Park and enable the use of, e.g. high-quality laboratory equipment. Each course ends with receiving a certificate of participation.

Laboratory trainings

Laboratory trainings conducted in the premises of the Park are divided into two types: theoretical and practical-theoretical. Despite the fact they have to be paid for, they offer a chance to participate for both the companies cooperating with the Park, and the external companies, academic staff or private persons, e.g. students.
The range of topics in the trainings covers chemistry, pharmacy and biotechnology in practical terms (with the focus on specific analytic technique or molecular biology procedure, e.g. gas and liquid chromatography, or PCR) so that the gained knowledge can be used in everyday work.
During each training theoretical aspects of the related topic are discussed, e.g. methodology or instrument characteristics. During the practical part, we show the instruments used in Wrocław Technology Park laboratories to participants, we familiarize them with their proper use, maintenance and methods of conducting analyses.

Certified trainings

Certified trainings are dedicated particularly to young scientists – students and graduates of sciences. They are, of course, also available for other participants who want to improve their professional qualifications.

The trainings are conducted based on normative documents such as PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, thus they guarantee gaining competence which is particularly valuable on the labour market. The training curriculum is also included in the code of good practices and solutions used by many service and production companies with a complex organizational structure.

Our trainings take a few days. The first module covers theoretical topics, particularly getting familiar with ISO standard requirements and is conducted by market specialist, auditors and TÜV Hessen Certifying Body experts. The second module is dedicated to practical workshops at a laboratory. Participants, under supervision of the team of WTP specialists, have an opportunity to use the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice so that they are able to use and verify the quality system in their everyday work.

During the course of trainings, we use simple analytical determinations (e.g. from the analysis of pills or a loose product) while participants learn to create, verify and prepare quality system documentation, e.g. procedures or manuals. The specially devised methodology of trainings guarantees a high level of knowledge acquisition.

The training end with receiving a certificate. It contains TÜV Hessen Certifying Body logos and it is valid without a time limit. Certificates are issued in Polish and English.

Technology workshops

We organize technology workshops to provide an even better start for young people on the labour market. They are dedicated particularly to students for whom they are a chance to gain practical knowledge of the work in the industry.

We put great emphasis on the practical part of our workshops. We want those young researchers and scientists to acquaint with the dynamics of work of highly specialized technology businesses outside the walls of their universities. During the course of the workshops participants have a chance to take part in different stages of production, from operation parameters monitoring to quality assessment of the final product.

The factual content discussed at the workshops is related to cutting-edge technologies, such as extraction in supercritical conditions, micro-encapsulation, ultra-filtration or chemical extraction.

Everything is presented on the industrial scale as to prepare participants to enter into the labour market even better. Participation in technology workshops allows to move the job of a researcher to a completely new level.
