Technoludek Kindergarten & Educational Centre

Educational Centre

Not only entrepreneurs can take a look at the possibilities of applying science into daily life. In WTP, there is the Educational Centre led by the Pro Mathematica Foundation which was established by Wrocław Technology Park in 2011.

While we take care of promoting innovations and entrepreneurship, the Education Centre deals with promoting science among children and adolescents. A well-equipped laboratory, new teaching aids and an original curriculum of activities attract the attention of not only parents who want to encourage children to take part in valuable extracurricular activities, but also of all the children and adolescents invited by to take part in classes.

The Education Centre holds workshops focused around science subjects. The curriculum does not only include chemistry, mathematics, physics or natural history, but also robotics, cryogenics, virtual reality, anatomy, ecology, genetics or design. It is worth noticing that the form and duration of classes is adjusted to fit the age group, depending on whether they are preschoolers, primary school students or middle school students. Classes can be attended both in groups and individually.

“Technoludek” Kindergarten

In WTP we meet the needs of our residents, also those who are parents. In Delta Building, there is the “Technoludek” kindergarten run by the Pro Mathematica Foundation.

For young discoverers

The “Technoludek” kindergarten is something more than just a commodity for parents who work in the premises of WTP. Most of all, it is a place where children spend time developing their creativity and curiosity for the world. Young pre-school students learn how to be resourceful but also get familiar with the secrets of science. There is an Educational Centre next to the kindergarten which organizes maths, science and environment as well as robotics and chemistry classes for the preschoolers. By adjusting the form of the classes to the age of children, for a brief moment they become small engineers, scientists and explorers. We believe it will inculcate the desire to explore the world and to find creative solutions to problems they encounter later in life.

There are also English classes in the kindergarten led by a native speaker who is a professional educator.

What does the kindergarten look like?

The kindergarten is on the ground floor of Delta Building located at Duńska 9. It comprises of three colourful and sunny classrooms, each with a bathroom and an exit leading to a playground. Classrooms are equipped not only with new and safe children furniture, but also with themed play corners, didactic aids and imagination stimulating toys. There are two additional rooms in the kindergarten where children can attend corrective gymnastics classes with a physiotherapist, classes with a counsellor (using neurofunctional reorganization method by Beatrice Padovan), child psychologist and speech therapist.

However, the key asset of the “Technoludek” kindergarten is the committed teaching staff.
