Supporting curiosity about the world

At WPT, we believe that innovation starts with curiosity about the world, which is why we support not only adults but also children in their development! On the WPT site, in the DELTA building, there is the Technoludek kindergarten, which is not only a facility for parents working on our campus but also a place where children develop their creativity and deepen their curiosity about the world.

Right next to the kindergarten is the Education Centre, run by the ProMathematica Foundation. It hosts classes focusing on science, new technologies and entrepreneurship.

WPT Education Centre

An entrepreneurial attitude in life is the basis for success, which is why at the WPT Education Centre, run by the Pro Mathematica Foundation, established in 2011 by the Wrocław Technology Park, we run educational classes that introduce children to the world of science and entrepreneurship. We focus on an interesting form of play and experience as an extension and complement to the activities carried out in kindergartens and schools.

The Education Centre boasts of a well-equipped laboratory. It also has state-of-the-art teaching aids available to support the delivery of a proprietary programme of activities that attracts the attention not only of parents who want to encourage their children to participate in worthwhile extra-curricular activities but, above all, of the children and young people it invites to classes.

The Education Centre hosts workshops for organised groups, focusing on science and innovative technologies. Their curriculum includes laboratory classes (enriched by experiments and experiments), workshops on architecture, ecology and classes on entrepreneurship and business branding. It is worth mentioning that the form and duration of the classes are adapted to the age of the group, depending on whether pre-schoolers, primary school pupils or secondary school students come to the classes.

Technoludek Kindergarten

The Technoludek kindergarten is run by the ProMathematica Foundation of the Wrocław Technology Park. The kindergarten pupils not only learn to be resourceful, they also learn about science. In the Education Centre, which operates next to Technoludek, preschoolers take part in classes not only in mathematics, physics or nature, but also robotics and chemistry. Thanks to the age-appropriate form of the activities, the children become little engineers, scientists and explorers for a while. We believe this will permanently instil in them a desire to explore the world and find creative solutions to the problems they encounter. The kindergarten also offers English classes, which are taught by a native speaker with pedagogical training.

What does the kindergarten look like?

Technoludek is located on the ground floor of the Delta building, located at 9 Duńska St. The kindergarten consists of three sunny and colourful teaching rooms, each with its own bathroom and exit to the playground. They are equipped not only with new and safe furniture for toddlers, but also themed corners, teaching aids and toys to stimulate the imagination. The kindergarten has two additional rooms where corrective classes with a rehabilitation therapist, classes with a pedagogue (conducted using the method of neurofunctional reorganisation according to the Beatrice Padovan), psychologist and speech therapist. The most important asset of the “Technoludek” kindergarten, however, is the dedicated teaching staff.
