At Wrocław Technology Park, we believe that the future needs to be designed and that’s why we support the entrepreneurship in its various forms. We are sure that being entrepreneurial is not only the best way to grow, but also to realise the potential of the energy, know-how and creativity overflowing from Wrocław and its people.
At WPT, we not only provide the space to allow businesses to grow, we also create a community of entrepreneurial people. We are the largest technology park in Poland, in terms of the number of companies operating on our premises. We see their diversity as proof that WTP’s offering is tailored to the needs of businesses of all types, operating at all scales.
We are home to innovative companies, entrepreneurs and researchers in the R&D sector, as well as companies locating their R&D departments here. Start-ups, SMEs and large international companies will find their place here.
We are confident that investment in innovation is undoubtedly the future of the modern economy. We believe that an investment can be not only capital, but also the right facilities or business know-how. We supply it by supporting the development of new companies, conducting, among other things, two business incubators, DAIP the Lower Silesian Academic Business Incubator, and IIP, the Integration Business Incubator. More than 220 companies have already expanded there.
Wrocław Technology Park is located in the dynamically developing business district of Wrocław. Undoubtedly, it is a logistically convenient location to develop business. Our complex includes office and laboratory buildings and the New 7 production and storage hall.
Stellar Hub – for business at any scale
Our offering is described by the Stellar Hub business development programme. It includes business products and services, clustered around nine areas presenting the full spectrum of WTP’s activities – from the rental of business infrastructure through business incubators, state-of-the-art laboratory and R&D facilities, specialised consulting and the Big Science market projects.
History
The history of our Park dates back to 1996. At the time, representatives from academia, business, financial institutions, local government and government agencies met at a conference on the idea of technology parks. It was initiated by the Wrocław City Hall, the Lower Silesian Chamber of Commerce and the Foundation for the Development of Wrocław University of Technology.
