Technology workshops are delivered at the Pilot Plant using the Technology Line and in the laboratories of Wrocław Technology Park.

The Pilot Plant Technology Line enables extraction and separation processes of compounds from plant materials and allows the production of, among others, dietary supplements from scratch. Thanks to access to a wide range of equipment, workshops provide an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills in production technologies.

This is a unique, technologically advanced production installation on a national scale, tailored to the needs of the life science industry, particularly the food, dietary supplement and bioactive product sectors. It also enables the implementation of innovative solutions, R&D activities, technology transfer, as well as execution of part or the entire production process.

The workshop offer also includes training in 3D printing, covering both the basics of modelling and printer operation, as well as advanced applications in prototyping and production of functional elements.

BUSINESS INFORMATION ZONE

As part of the Business Information Zone, we organize both training sessions for a wider audience and individual consultations focused on solving specific challenges faced by companies. One-on-one consultations are available on site in a dedicated space, where experts and entrepreneurs can meet in a friendly atmosphere while maintaining confidentiality, as well as online.

This is a project supporting business activity and innovation for companies from Wrocław and the entire Lower Silesia region.

The Business Information Zone is a specially designed space where entrepreneurs and individuals planning to start a business can receive comprehensive, professional support in one place. Experts representing various public institutions from across Poland, together with WPT specialists, provide practical guidance on running and developing a business. Participants can benefit from individual consultations during expert duty hours, as well as take part in training sessions and workshops covering key business topics.

Consultations address, among others, access to EU funding under the new financial perspective, intellectual property protection, employment of new staff including foreign workers, and raising private capital for starting or scaling a business.

Coffee Break Networking

Regular monthly networking meetings dedicated to entrepreneurs, startups, and individuals planning to start a business. The meetings aim to build an ecosystem of enterprising people who support one another and share best practices and knowledge. In addition to networking, an important part of each meeting includes training sessions and workshops focused on developing participants’ business competencies.

Information about upcoming meetings is published on Wrocław Technology Park’s social media channels, including LinkedIn and Facebook.

PROJECT TRAINING

FENG 2.17

Project-related training is delivered as part of a project implemented by Wrocław Technology Park titled “Supporting the development of the NUTRIBIOMED cluster by strengthening the cluster coordinator’s capacity and expanding the service offering in R&D&I, knowledge transfer, and good practices”, under the European Funds for a Modern Economy programme.

The training is aimed at entities from the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics sectors – both for people who are just starting their work in these areas and for those who want to build experience and expand their knowledge and skills. The services are delivered on-site, and the theoretical part accounts for no more than 25% of the total training time.

EDIH
WRO4digITal is a European Digital Innovation Hub based in Wrocław and a member of the pan-European European Digital Innovation Hubs network – one of the European Commission’s key instruments for supporting and coordinating the digital transformation of the EU economy.

The hub was established by a consortium of 22 organisations that provide comprehensive support for digital transformation. SMEs in Lower Silesia can benefit from free expert services and modernise the way they produce or deliver services in line with current digitalisation trends. This helps increase competitiveness, supports regional economic growth, and improves access to a skilled workforce.

Our mission is to create strong networking effects and build a digital innovation ecosystem for SMEs. Through educational and demonstration activities, we provide access to specialist knowledge and equipment, while our tailored advisory and implementation services help companies identify and adopt the right digital solutions. We also connect businesses with technology providers and potential partners, and support them in securing funding.

We focus on three core technologies of the Digital Europe Programme: artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), and cybersecurity. In addition, we offer services covering a wide range of other digital technologies, including cloud computing, big data, blockchain, the Internet of Things, virtual and augmented reality, modern automation and robotics solutions, and additive manufacturing.

All of these technologies can be explored in practice through the laboratories of our consortium. Take your innovation to the next level.
