Who is DAIP for?
At the Lower Silesian Academic Business Incubator (DAIP), WPT supports academic entrepreneurs: students, PhD candidates, graduates and university staff starting businesses in research and development sectors. Over a 2-year incubation period, DAIP provides conditions conducive to the growth of young companies, with a strong focus on knowledge transfer from academia to business.
DAIP builds a growth-friendly ecosystem, helps companies prepare for independent market operation, and promotes academic entrepreneurship at universities by demonstrating how research results can be commercialised in cooperation with WPT.
More than 160 companies from over 15 sectors have already benefited from DAIP support, including IT, chemical engineering, mechanics, electronics, biochemistry, biotechnology and medicine.

DAIP goals and mission
DAIP focuses on supporting knowledge transfer from academia to business. It creates conditions that foster the development of young companies and prepares them for independent operation in the market. It actively promotes academic entrepreneurship at universities, showing that starting a company can be a natural path to commercialising research results in cooperation with WPT.
Dedicated spaces for companies using this incubation path at WPT are located at ul. Klecińska 123 in Wrocław, in the ALFA building of WPT.
