Grant voucher

The Grant voucher mechanism makes it possible to begin the process of applying for EU funding through Wrocławski Park Technologiczny.

Under this mechanism, we support and finance the preparation of documentation required to apply for EU co-financing for R&D projects. It is aimed at entities that plan to use WPT laboratory equipment and other resources as part of their projects.

“Grant voucher” means financial resources that both our tenants and other individuals or companies interested in carrying out broadly understood R&D activities within our Park can use to cover fixed costs related to preparing an EU grant application. These may include in-house costs incurred as part of running a business, as well as fees for a specialised consulting company.

Thanks to this mechanism, the process of applying for EU funds becomes simpler and more accessible – you reduce formalities to the necessary minimum and can focus on what matters most: developing and implementing your innovation.

Grant voucher in numbers:

+290 mln PLN in project value that received funding

+90 cooperation agreements under the mechanism

De minimis aid

Wrocławski Park Technologiczny secures funding from national and EU programmes and then transfers it to companies cooperating with the Park. One form of this support is de minimis aid, which we provide within WPT projects.

Our support is sourced, among others, from activities financed through operational programmes:

  • Measure 5.3, OP IE – Support for Innovation Centres (2007-2013), aimed at WPT tenants, including entrepreneurs using DAIP and the Integrated Business Incubator (IIP).
  • Measure 5.1, OP IE – Supporting the development of cooperation links of supra-regional importance (2007-2013), delivered for members of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster.
  • Measure 02.22, FENG – Co-financing EDIH activities (2021-2027), dedicated to enterprises with SME status.

Thanks to these programmes, entrepreneurs can use free or partially subsidised services that support growth, innovation and improved competitiveness within the WPT ecosystem.

Results of the aid we provide:

+ 43 mln PLN
– value of projects that received WPT support

+ 2,5 thousand
de minimis agreements

+ 29 mln PLN
in de minimis support granted by WPT in 2010-2024

Measure 5.3 – Aid granted under the Support for Innovation Centres

“From Wrocław Technology Park to Innopolis Wrocław” is the name of the project under which we are able to provide our tenants with a range of services supporting their research, development or innovation activities. Since its implementation, we have been granting de minimis aid in the following areas:

  • provision of research and development services,
  • lease of real estate or technical infrastructure for the purpose of conducting scientific research, development work or innovation activities,
  • sale of intangible assets and intellectual property rights.

An entrepreneur may benefit from de minimis aid provided that its total amount, together with other de minimis aid received over the previous three years, does not exceed EUR 300,000. Support granted under this programme represents the difference between the market price of the services used by the beneficiary and the actual payments made by the entrepreneur.

Measure 5.1 – Aid under supporting the development of supra-regional cooperation links

Through the implementation of the project “Development of cooperative links of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster aimed at the commercialisation of innovative solutions”, we established the Pilot Plant – a space integrating NUTRIBIOMED Cluster members, equipped with tools for research, technology transfer, implementation and pilot-scale production. As the coordinator of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster, we provide de minimis aid in the following scope:

  • time-limited use of all or selected modules of the Pilot Plant, enabling technical-scale production of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals or products for pharmaceutical applications, as well as research and analyses,
  • conducting research and analyses to develop specific solutions (know-how) related to food processing technologies and biotechnological processes using the Pilot Plant,
  • granting licences to use solutions related to food processing technologies and biotechnological processes developed using the Pilot Plant (know-how), or transferring intellectual property rights to these solutions to an entrepreneur.

De minimis aid granted to Cluster members represents the difference between the market-based price of services and the actual payment made by the entrepreneur. Such aid may be granted provided that, together with other de minimis aid received over the previous three years, it does not exceed EUR 300,000.

Measure 2.22 – Co-financing of EDIH activities

The project “WRO4digITal European Digital Innovation Hub Wrocław – Ecosystem for sustainable digital growth of Lower Silesia” enables WPT to support SMEs in their digital transformation process through free-of-charge training and advisory services, as well as access to specialist knowledge and equipment. The amount of de minimis aid granted to SMEs by WPT represents 50% of the service cost, while the difference between the service cost and the value of de minimis aid is covered by the Digital Europe Programme.

Thanks to WRO4digITal, WPT acts as a natural link between science and the economy. It develops conditions for the industrial and scientific use of the potential of Wrocław and the region, and stimulates the development of advanced technologies and digital transformation.
