Support for the Development of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster

The project aims to support the development of the NUTRIBIOMED cluster by strengthening the capacity of the cluster coordinator. The project objectives include:

  1. Acquiring new competencies by the cluster coordinator to provide planned R&D&I services and facilitate knowledge transfer to cluster members and external entities.
  2. Delivering 21 R&D&I services to cluster members and external entities.
  3. Delivering 8 training services to cluster members and external entities.
  4. Enhancing cooperative connections within the cluster and increasing the number of interactions between the NUTRIBIOMED cluster and its environment.

These actions will strengthen the capacity of the cluster coordinator and support the transformation of the NUTRIBIOMED cluster into an organization meeting the requirements of the industry of the future, following the ADMA methodology.

Project Deliverables:

The project will provide six types of services:

  1. Research and Analysis Services
    Conducting research and analysis to develop specific solutions (know-how) related to food processing technologies and biotechnological processes, utilizing the NUTRIBIOMED cluster’s technological line.
  2. Technological Line Access
    Temporary access to the entire or selected modules of the NUTRIBIOMED cluster’s technological line, enabling technical-scale production of dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical-grade preparations, as well as conducting research and analysis.
  3. Training Service: “Emulsion in the Cosmetic/Food Industry”
  4. Training Service: “Using HPLC Techniques in the Food/Cosmetic Industry”
  5. Training Service: “Quality in the Food Industry/Controlling and Evaluating Food Product Quality”
  6. Training Service: “Liposomes in the Food Industry”

Implementation Plan:

To achieve these goals, the project includes expanding the existing R&D&I infrastructure and organizing training for employees involved in the project implementation.
