The WPT Laboratory of Electronics, Mechatronics and Spintronics enables test and diagnostic studies of electronic components or subassemblies and the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs). It is equipped to allow manual or automatic assembly of electronic components on printed circuit boards using either through-hole (THT) or surface mount (SMT) technologies. The entire production process, from the manufacture of the PCB to the assembly of components onto it, can be carried out there. Importantly, it can be implemented at different scales – the production line located in the laboratory is industrial in nature, allowing mass production of electronic components. The WPT also enables smaller orders, such as the manufacture of product prototypes or test batches. We are also open to working with students and making electronic components for their academic projects.
The laboratory is one of the components forming part of the Electronic and Energy Laboratory Unit.
